01Not cooling: one zone, or the whole cabinet?

The number on the panel is only what the sensor tells the control. When a fair test says otherwise, the sensor is tested first.

A panel-ready column is hemmed in by cabinetry. When an IW-24 stops cooling soon after a remodel, new trim, a toe-kick board or a floor finish crowding the unit is the first thing to rule out, and you can do that before we arrive.

- Check the breaker, then look at whether anything new is pressed against the base of the unit or stacked in front of it. - How do I tell an IW-24 from an IW-18 or IW-30?
- All three stand 84 inches tall behind custom panels, so height tells you nothing. Measure the cabinet width without the panel: 24 inches for this one, 18 or 30 for its siblings. The tag on the handle-side wall under the controls settles it, and it is worth a photo before you ring anyone.
